Article 3: Man accidentally mows down 13-month-old daughter

ALOR SETAR: For businessman Mohd Uzair Zul, life will never be the same again. He had rushed home, eager to see his 13-month-old daughter, Auni Elia Aifa, the apple of his eye. He did not realise he had just driven over her and crushed her to death.
On Friday evening, the 35-year-old parked his car in the porch of his house in Felda Lubok Merbau, Padang Terap after refuelling at the nearby family-owned petrol station.
The devoted father, who was still seated in the Proton Persona car, was unaware the toddler had been crushed to death under the weight of the vehicle.
Auni Elia Aifa sustained head injuries in the 6.50pm incident. Her body was sent to the Alor Setar Hospital.
Padang Terap police chief DSP Ku Yaacob Ku Hamad said, according to Mohd Uzair's police report, the businessman was parking the car in the porch when he mistakenly mowed down his daughter.
"He claimed to have hit the victim with the car before mowing her down while entering the porch of his house.
"He suspected that he had dragged something when one of his rear tyres caused something to crack," he told Bernama when contacted Saturday.
Ku Yaacob said the case was investigated under Section 41 (1) Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by dangerous driving.
Auni Elia Aifa was buried at the Lubok Merbau Muslim cemetery Saturday. - Bernama
My opinion to this article is I felt sad to the 13 month old kid. May God bless her. This article tell us that be careful while we're driving, otherwise will cause accident including death.

Article 2: Singer Shila Amzah hitting the high notes

SINGER Shila Amzah is on a winning streak. There is now a possibility of her collaborating with Mandopop heart-throb Wang Leehom after impressing him with her performance in Asian Wave, Guang Ming Dailyreported.
Shila, whose real name is Nur Shahila Amir Amzah, performed Wang's Mandarin hit Forever Love in one of the preliminary rounds of the Asian regional competition held in China recently.
When judge Eric Moo a veteran Malaysian singer-songwriter showed her performance to Wang, he was said to be amazed with her performance and agreed to write her a song.
It was reported that Shila's manager was planning to include all the songs she had sang at the competition, including Adele's Set Fire to the Rain, in an album soon.
The manager is also in the midst of a discussion with Shanghai Entertainment Team Media Group on Shila's singing contract. The 22-year-old singer is also making arrangements to improve on her Chinese, a language she learned from pre-school until Year Three.
Following her skyrocketing popularity in China, Shila opened a Weibo (Chinese Tweeter) account to interact with her fans. On Tuesday, she tweeted: “I bought so many scarves in Shanghai ... around 36 scarves all together..:) so happy!”
My opinion to this article is Shila Amzah is making Malaysian feel proud of her! She is an amazing singer that would Malaysia feel proud of having her as our first Malaysian singer whereby Lee Hom will write her a song.

Article 1: Cops: We’ll get the shooters

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have recorded statements from five motorists in connection with the shooting incident involving two policemen at Jalan Kuchai Lama. The motorists were at the traffic light junction at about 6.45pm on Wednesday when two policemen, who were approaching a black Proton Saga with four men inside, were shot by the car's occupants. The policemen returned three shots, hitting the car windscreen and petrol tank. City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the car of one of the motorists was hit with a bullet while he was waiting at the traffic light. “We are studying the footage from the traffic light cameras. The four suspects fled on foot when their car stopped after its petrol tank was shot. We found that the car had undergone five ownership changes,” he said at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre while visiting the two policemen Kpl Nor Azlan Abu Bakar, 42, and Kpl R. Subramaniam, 52.

SAC Ku was accompanying Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar and his deputy Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar during a hospital visit. Ismail said police had obtained several leads on the suspects and were confident that they would be nabbed soon. Kpl Nor Azlan was shot in the neck and Kpl Subramaniam in the abdomen. Both are reported to be in a stable condition. SAC Ku also revealed that another policeman on a motorcycle, who was passing by the scene, saw the attack and rushed his colleagues to the hospital in their patrol car. Kpl Subramaniam said he and Kpl Azlan had chased the Proton Saga after its driver refused to stop for a check.“The car then stopped at the traffic light junction. We got to out to inspect the occupants. Suddenly, shots rang out from the car and we had to return fire,” he added. Kpl Nor Azlan said he managed to fire his weapon despite being shot in the neck. “I wanted to fight on but the pain was overwhelming,” he added.
My opinion of this article is people nowadays are getting violence than last time. They don't scare of police. Why would this happened in our country? Because of our country doesn't have enough power to against crime? NO! All these happened because of our country never put much of concern on this kind of problem. Until now, this case had happened, only people start to concern, they only take action after this incident happened. I hope Malaysia can improve more on this :)

My expectation to Journalism class

Actually, I don't really like journalism class because it's required a lot of writing skill. I'm good in writing the idea but my grammar not very good. Other than that, I heard a lot of senior said that journalism class is very hard to score even Mr.K had told us in the first class. Since it's inside our syllabus, I will do my best to score it. I hope I can learn more in writing skill and understand more about what is journalism about.

Is about A.B.B.I.E

People used to called me Pek San before I enter college, but after that, people call me as Abbie nowadays. Maybe, my name doesn't special to people, but it's special for me, because it was given by my parents. I'm a outgoing and hyperactive person. I like to go outdoor activities, such as jungle trekking, camp, or any sport activities. I love to dance and I like to edit music, for example, I been remix music for dance performance. I wish to know more about music production and it's my interest. I might not very good in talking or telling people about what am I thinking, but I very good in giving out idea. That's a reason why I want to choose Advertising and Public Relation as my major in my future.

So this is Abbie taking picture in the car.
The girl who like to do this upside down pose.
